40 Hours Devotion

Beginning Friday, March 2nd at 6:00 pm through Sunday, March 4th, 6:00 pm

The Forty Hours’ Devotion (in Latin, Quarantore) is an ancient tradition of the Church that St. Charles Parish wishes to reclaim during Lent. During this devotion, forty hours of continuous prayer is made before the Blessed Sacrament in solemn exposition.

In addition to this prayerful event, we are looking for "adorers of our Lord" who can commit to pray for one hour throughout the forty hour devotion because Jesus should never be left alone when the Eucharist is exposed in the Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Please click HERE to sign up to fill a time slot or see the parish sign-up shelf.
